By providing your mobile telephone number to Garrett Legal Services and consenting to receive text messages, you agree that Garrett Legal Services may send you text messages regarding your inquiry, consultation, appointments, document requests, case or matter updates, billing or administrative information, and other communications related to services you have requested from our office.

Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of obtaining legal services from Garrett Legal Services.

Message frequency will vary depending on your interactions with our office and the nature of your inquiry or legal matter.

Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and service plan. Garrett Legal Services is not responsible for charges imposed by your mobile carrier.

Opting Out

 

You may opt out of receiving text messages from Garrett Legal Services at any time by replying STOP to a text message from our office.

 

After opting out, you may receive a confirmation message indicating that you will no longer receive text messages. Garrett Legal Services may communicate with you through another available method when necessary.

If you have an urgent matter, please contact the office through an appropriate communication method.

Attorney-Client Relationship

 

Receiving or exchanging text messages with Garrett Legal Services does not, by itself, create an attorney-client relationship. An attorney-client relationship is established only after Garrett Legal Services agrees to provide representation and any required written engagement agreement has been completed.
